Interactive dog toys are the ones that make your dog think, rather than just run about. Instead of waiting for you to throw the ball, the dog has to solve a problem: manipulate the toy to release the food, chase something that moves on its own, or learn to return the ball to the machine so the game can start again. Licking mats — the mat with a spinning ball slows down mealtimes and has a calming effect, acting as enrichment during feeding.A safety note: toys with small parts, batteries or motors should be used under supervision and put away when playtime is over.
